 Q1. Where can I buy a replacement power cord?
A1. Radiantech strongly encourages that you buy a replacement power cord straight from us. We cannot guarantee the safety of our instruments with any other power cord, and any resulting damage will void the product warranty. 
 

Q2. What should I do when OT-8800 cannot get the measurement or the measurement is unusual?
A2. If scan returns an abnormal curve, please first check to see if any interface abnormalities (e.g. dirty interface, unclean fiber, or damaged ceramic tubes) exist. If after checking these problem still occur, please send the scan file (*.SOR) to us for analysis.
 
Q3. How do I set up parameters on OT-8800?
A3: Please refer to section 4.2.2 of the manual
 
Q4. Why do I need to send my instrument in for correction?
A4. The accuracy of the instrument is the most important part of product quality. Under the ISO9000, the instrument must to be sent to a TAF certified lab every so often to ensure continued accuracy.
 
Q5: What instruments can I sent to be recalibrated?
A5: Optical power meter, Light source, Photodetector, Spectrum analyzers, Optical time domain reflectometers, Optical attenuator, Optical return loss of instrument, Polarized analyzer, Wavelengths, Adjustable light sources, Fiber optic jumper cables, etc. If you are unsure of whether or not we can repair your instrument, please contact us.
