 RTU Specification

RTU monitoring station is formed by embedded micro processor module (MCU), OTDR module, Optical Power Measurement module (OPM), Optical Channel Switch module (OCS), Power module (POWER), Wavelength division multiplexing module (WDM) (option). 

                 mMMMCU (  Microcontroller Unit  module)  specification

The function of MCU module is to manage other devices and communicate with the monitoring center server. It can transmit the status of monitoring station to the monitoring center, or perform configuration and operating instructions from monitoring centers. Using embedded control systems, structures refined.

Power (Power module) specification

 

Power module is an Intelligent Power. While Traditional power supply designs use analog ICs with fixed functionality to provide regulated power, the Intelligent Power Supply integrates a MCU for following power features:Digital On/Off control for low standby power, remote communications function feedback the power status, Power supply sequencing and hot-swap control, with light indication and power switch on the panel.

OCS (channel selection module) specification

OCS is the abbreviation of Optical Channel Switch. OCS is a kind of tool with one or more optional transmitting ports. Its role is to switch or logically operate optical transmission line and the congregation of optical signal, simply means that you can use a optical fiber which is connected to a port and use it to connect to more ports by OCS switch.

TF (Terminal Filter module) specification

When a tunable light source or tunable laser send optical signal to OTDR Reflector, it will only reflect light signal with a fixed wavelength. By checking this reflected wavelength, people will know that this fiber channel is not broken and is in good condition. OTDR Reflector has both  ends of connector or one end of connector and another end of adaptor
